Come Back Empty Come Back

Bericht van Zeal Dreyar wo aug 18, 2021 5:16 pm

I've been known to tear shit up and go off like a gun
Fuck that shit, let's start a riot!

Relieved he sighed as he finally closed the door of his apartment and was save home again. For a moment he closed his eyes, trying to slow down his fast-beating heart. He cursed the situation. He realized that he should’ve listened to Laxus’s words. He had no clue who Wren was with and now he had walked right into the lion’s den. He knew Wren had dangerous powers, but he had trust that the man wouldn’t use it against him. He had, however, never thought about Wren’s boss who clearly wouldn’t have a trouble killing someone else. He had no idea how, but he had managed to get home safely. Now it was the question how long he would be safe here. Clearly, Wren knew the way to his apartment, so if Wren’s boss wanted him dead to, then he could’ve easily figured out the way as well. Zeal shook his head. He had to pack his stuff and find another place to stay. Maybe he could crash at the lab.

He made his way through the hall, to the living room. ”Joltik!” he called for his little fury friend. He needed Joltik to be ready to leave as well. He moved to the bedroom to start packing a bag. He was almost done packing the bag when he noticed that it was oddly quiet in his apartment. Frowning slightly, he got up and moved back to the living room. He looked around but didn’t saw the yellow spider anywhere. He let out a soft sigh. Had it fallen asleep again while snacking on cereal? Zeal moved to the kitchen and opened the cabinet, expecting to find a sleeping Joltik, but nothing. He continued to open the cabinets, only to never find Joltik. What the hell? ”Joltik!” he yelled again, now growing more desperate.

It was then that he noticed he had a text message on his phone. His heart sunk as he opened it and read it. They had taken Joltik because it had proven ‘useless’ and Zeal had proven to not be a trustworthy employee for it. For a minute Zeal just stared at the screen, hoping he would get another text that would say that it was a joke, but it never came. Slowly he saw his world collapsing. He had lost Wren, he would never be with the love of his life and now he had lost his only fury friend he could get comfort from. The electricity started to spark around him as the many emotions started to unfold. With a groan he threw the phone away, not caring for how it shattered against the wall. Frustrated he let out a yell, before starting to throw random objects into the room. Starting small with plates and books, to eventually push over the entire bookshelf.
